I have worked in the finance industry for nearly 40 years with my career taking off in business administration in the late 1980’s.  During the early years I worked in the mortgage field providing over 500 mortgages for my clients, many first-time home buyers. It was at that I realized I had a passion for working with people and helping them secure a solid foundation of home ownership.

In 2000 I began working with BNS, Scotia McLeod as an investment advisor.  This was a great career move allowing me to further aid my clients in securing their future investments. 

In 2010 industrial alliance provided a career move whereby not only could I aid my clients in managing their financial affairs, retirement and estate planning, but I also was able to enjoy the dynamics of the stock and bond market.  

My wife and I enjoy life on salt spring island practicing sustainability with a small hobby farm with a fruit orchard and nut trees. We have chickens, honeybees and grow as much of our own food as possible. I give back to the community volunteering my time and knowledge as Executive Treasurer with the Salt Spring Island Conservancy.
